LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

Dear East Coloma Nelson Families,

We are excited to share more of our strategic planning process with you! This critical process allows us to create an environment where our mission and values can thrive.

This process began with a focus on identifying and prioritizing our objectives. To start, we gathered input from stakeholders including business owners, parents, board members, and employees during a "Day of Listening." We had over 30 people attend this event which ensures that we are addressing everyone's needs while also considering the broader external environment.

Following this, we convened a team to prioritize our objectives and develop measurable goals and targets. Then, we developed action plans with the steps that need to be taken to reach these goals.

We will review and monitor our goals and progress on an ongoing basis. This will ensure that any potential barriers are addressed quickly and that we remain on track to reach our objectives. We also strive to be flexible with our plans according to the changing external environment.

Ultimately, our strategic planning process is focused on ensuring that our mission and values are realized. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about this process, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Dr. Chris Lensing
